Star Gem Red PVC Color Change Wrap (GSM057)

Star Gem Red PVC Color Change Wrap (GSM057)

Star Gem Red is a straight, saturated performance red that stops foot traffic the moment the shutter goes up. What matters as much as the shade is how the film handles: it stays supple on the bench, so a careful installer can work it into bumpers, mirror housings and deep recesses without losing gloss or stretching the colour thin. That conformability turns the awkward panels of a full reskin into routine work rather than a negotiation.

Finish and surface

The gloss finish reads like polished clear-coat: sharp highlights along every shoulder line and a wet-look depth across bonnets, roofs and other horizontal panels. Low orange-peel texture keeps the shine clean rather than hazy, so the red stays crisp under showroom and daylight alike. It is a finish that rewards good panel preparation, because anything left underneath will show.

Why installers pick it

• A consistent, batch-stable PVC colour-change film in a single, matched shade
• Conforms over bumpers, mirrors and deep recesses with gentle heat, holding shape and gloss
• Wet-look gloss with sharp highlights and low orange-peel, so the shine stays clean
• Suits gunmetal and black wheels, and pairs cleanly with chrome-delete trim
• Shade stays stable through the job; straightforward care routine keeps the surface bright
• Supplied in full rolls or cut lengths matched to your job list
• OEM and private-label programmes with your brand on the liner and box

Where it fits

For a national distributor stocking a range for local installers, this is the performance shade that anchors the red end of the wall. It is the natural scene for sporty road cars, show builds and accent work, where a customer wants the car to look fast while it is standing still. Stocked alongside black, grey and white lines, it gives branch studios an easy upsell the moment a client asks for something with energy.

Supply and programmes

Take it as full rolls for volume studios or as cut lengths against confirmed jobs, with batch consistency keeping multi-car work on a single matched shade. Standing stock and scheduled re-supply are available for distributors running the shade as a core line.
